This Privacy Policy explains how OnClick Marketing Agency ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes information when you use OnClick Chat at https://chat.onclick-eg.com (the "App"). OnClick Chat is a customer-messaging and social media management tool that helps businesses manage their own Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts: Messenger and Instagram replies, comment replies, live chat and scheduled posts.

By using the App you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information we collect

a) Account information you give us: your name, email address, password (stored encrypted), phone number and billing details when you subscribe to a paid plan.

b) Information from Facebook Login and Meta APIs (only after you click "Login with Facebook" and approve the requested permissions):

  • Your public profile (name, Facebook user ID, profile picture) and email address, to create and identify your account.
  • The list of Facebook Pages and connected Instagram business accounts that you manage, and the access tokens for them, so you can choose which Pages to connect.
  • Messages sent to your connected Pages and Instagram accounts, and the name and profile picture of the people who message them, so the App can show the conversation in Live Chat and reply automatically with the bot you configure.
  • Posts and comments on your connected Pages, so you can view, reply to, hide or moderate comments and publish posts.
  • Page and Messenger insights (such as number of new conversations), so you can see analytics for your own Pages.

c) Technical information: IP address, browser type and log data needed to keep the service secure and working.

2. How we use the information

  • To provide the features you request: connecting your Pages, automated Messenger and Instagram replies, live chat, comment management, scheduled posting and analytics.
  • To create and manage your account, provide customer support and send you important service notices.
  • To keep the App secure and prevent abuse.

We use data received from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) only to provide the features above to the Page owner who connected it. We do not sell this data, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not share it with data brokers.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share information:

  • With Meta, when the App sends messages, replies or posts on your behalf through the Meta APIs.
  • With service providers that host and operate the App for us (for example our server hosting provider and payment processor), who are bound to protect it and use it only for our service.
  • When required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

4. Data retention

We keep your information only while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect a Page, delete your Facebook account from the App, or delete your OnClick Chat account, we delete the related Facebook and Instagram data (tokens, page information, subscribers and conversations) from our servers within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law.

5. How to delete your data

  • Inside the App: open Connect Accounts and delete your Facebook account, or ask us to delete your whole account.
  • From Facebook: go to Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find OnClick Chat and click Remove.
  • By email: send a request to [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.

6. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, restricted server access and encrypted password storage to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal information at any time from your account or by contacting us. You can also withdraw the Facebook permissions you granted at any time from your Facebook settings.

8. Children

The App is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
